Sliver Domination

A new Magic the Gathering Fun-Format

Requirements:

• 2 or more players, more players = more chaos = more fun.
• 1 stack with random sliver cards. (There is no rule of 4, you can add 50x sliver queen if you want.)
• 5 stacks with ~20+ of each of the basic lands. (might need more if there's a huge group playing)
• Some dice and a printed list with actions (or click here to do it digitally on mobile)
• A lifecounter.

How to set up:

• Shuffle the stack with sliver cards and place them in the center between the players.
• Place the 5 basic lands next to the sliver pile, in seperate piles (so, a 6 stack-library).
• Leave some space next to the other side of the sliverpile for the shared graveyard.

How to play:

• Throw some dice or figure out a fair way to appoint the starting player.
• The starting player draws 1 card from the common library (the shared sliverpile and plains-, island-, swamp-, mountain-, forest-piles are considered "your library")
• Every other player draws a card, then the starting player goes for the next card until all players have 7 cards in hand.
• Set your lifecounter to 20 for a fast paced game or 30 for a longer playtime.
• The starting player draws a card (even in a 1v1) and starts his/her turn from the "action phase".
• Play out your turn as usual with the additional Action Phase:
• Untap
• Upkeep
• Draw a card from "your library"
• Action phase: Roll the dice (or click here to open a randomizer)
As of may 2023 these are the options, more may be added, or changed at a later point in time.
• 1: Destroy all slivers with target name.
• 2: Draw 2 cards from your library.
• 3: Gain 3 life.
• 4: Scry 4.
• 5: Create a 1/1 Sliver token creature.
• 6: Gain control of target sliver, untap it, it gains haste.
• Main phase
• Combat phase
• Second Main Phase
• End phase
• You share the Library, Graveyard and Exile; so if any cards mention "your library" you can choose either(or both) of the stacks with slivers and or basiclands. If you have to retrieve something from "your graveyard" it's from the shared graveyard, and obviously the same goes for the shared Exile.
• You will lose the game if no cards are available to draw in your draw phase and/or if you have 0 lifepoints left.

Legal, banned, restricted and Errata:

As of may 2023:

• All Sliver Creature cards
• All Basic Land cards
• Vanguard cards are legal, but not required to play, but could give a fun twist, especially with Sliver Queen, Brood Mother

• All Sorcery cards
• All Instant cards
• All Enchantment cards
• All Artifact cards
• All Non-Basic Land cards
• All Planeswalker cards
• All Conspiracy cards
• All Battle cards
• All Dungeon cards
• All Non-Sliver Creature cards
Note: we're thinking about shapeshifter cards to be legal, keep a close eye to any changes on the banlist.

• Currently none of the slivers are restricted, but pay attention to the legends rule

• "Your library" will target the sliverpile AND the basicland piles since these 6 stacks are the shared common library.
  (If a card states, draw 4 cards, you can choose to draw either up to 4 of different basic lands and or multiple cards from the sliverstack).
• "Graveyard" will target the shared graveyard.
• "Exile" will target the shared exile.
